Taklamakan (China)
Taklamakan is one of the largest sand desert in
the world, located in the Autonomous Region Uighur people of Xinjiang. Taklamakan
stretches over 270 000 km2 area of the Tarim
Basin, with a length of 1,000 km and 400 km
wide. In the
north and the south edge of this desert are two branches of
the Silk Road by the
traveler looking to
avoid the arid
wasteland.

Lencois Maranhenses (Brazil)

Farafra (Egypt)
The main attraction of Farafra is the White Desert (also
